Hi,
I'm Jonathan Roberts
If we haven't met before, I'm a pianist and entrepreneur in the Boston area. I'm the founder of the South Shore Piano School, which has grown to 220 students in a short two-and-a-half years.
Five years ago, I was working for a community music school when I hit rock bottom financially. I was working around the clock, yet living paycheck to paycheck, relying on credit cards, and just hoping everything would work out.
When the stress became too much, I started taking the proper steps to gain control over my finances. Everything changed after that. Now, financial stress is gone, I know I'll be able to pay for my kids' college, and I know I will retire wealthy.
And I want to share all of this with you in this free course. It's the education we should have received in school.
I didn't invent the principles in this course. They're taught by people like Dave Ramsey, Suze Orman, and if you go back far enough, even the Bible.
But music teachers have needed a resource to handle the unique financial challenges of being a music teacher, whether psychological or circumstantial. This is that resource.
What You'll Learn

Module 1 - The Mindset Shift
Before you can take the actions required to transform your financial life, you'll need to change how you think about money. It has become normal for people to be broke and struggling. The world also believes music teachers are destined for poverty because of their career choices. But these are the misconceptions that keep us broke.
This lesson will clear the misconceptions, reframe how you think about your income, and give you a solid foundation to do what needs to be done.

Module 2 - Harnessing the Power of Your Income
It's not about making more money. That won't fix the problem. It's about understanding the power of the income you already have.
In this module, you'll learn how to live on cash using an easy-to-create monthly budget. (Hint: Most people have the idea of budgeting completely wrong.)

Module 3 - Destroy Your Debt
To build an exciting financial future, you need to eradicate your debt. Most people struggle with this idea because debt has become some normal. But you're not going to be normal. This isn't going to be a module about quick-fixes or tricks. But rolling up your sleeves, harnessing the power of your income, and clearing your debt for the rest of your life. We'll show you how.

Module 4 - Build Wealth
With your debt paid off, your income is freed up to start saving and investing. In this module, you'll learn the basics of how investing works and the options available to you. At this phase, you can do the math and start to see some exciting numbers for your financial future.
And remember - wealth isn't about huge houses and fancy cars. Wealth is about securing your family's future and having the freedom to make the impact you want to on the world.

Module 5 - Handling Doubts and Talking with Others
The steps to financial freedom are simple, but the execution takes discipline and determination. You will inevitably have doubts. And if you talk with friends about it, they will tell you you're crazy.
So in this module, we'll finish out the course by giving you tools to handle your doubts when they occur. You'll also learn how to handle talking with others about money in a constructive way.
The Possibilities of Wealth as a Music Teacher
A lot of music teachers are going to read this, think "the wealthy lifestyle isn't for me," and move on. This is part of the problem.
Because wealth isn't about everything you see on TV. Big houses, a fancy car, throwing money around like confetti. That's all BS.
Wealth is about having freedom and choices.
Wealth is not only about being able to secure your own future and your family's future. It's also about being able to give generously.
We all know non-profit music organizations that rely on wealthy individuals who have no background in music whatsoever.
Imagine being able to have a direct impact on the causes you want to support.
Imagine being able to choose what you do with your time in your later years with no restrictions.
Imagine being able to change your family legacy for the next several generations. Not just in terms of money, but knowledge around money and wealth. Because what you'll learn in this course, you'll want to pass down to your kids.
This course is the education we should have received in music school. The lessons are short, they're easy to implement, and we're here to support you.
You just have to take that first step.
